Concert Band/Guitar
The Earl Warren Middle School Music Program offers one class in music instruction.
The Earl Warren Music Program will be offering Concert Band. It is a music class that functions like a beginning to intermediate level band class. Currently there are students from begginner level to advanced (2 or more years playing an instrument) in the class. The educational focus in the class is to teach students the fundamentals of music through instrumental performance. The instruments in the band include: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion. The students will learn about their individual instrumenmts, music history, music theory and perform a variety of repertiore that is enjoyable for the students and can connect to the audience. Regular practice at home is expected. Providing your own instrument to participate is necessary, however, our program does own a few instruments that may be available for learner use (please ask before school starts to secure an instrument as inventory is limited).
